Heena cooks homelike traditional North Indian food
Heena Chopra grew up in New Delhi, India, where her Maaji whipped up delicious, traditional foods. Their kitchen was a gathering place for family and friends. It was also Heena’s culinary training ground. Her Maaji showed how to prepare delicious foods with skill and deep love, right down to picking cilantro leaves and blending the family’s masala chai.
Since December 2003, Heena has been working in the food industry and keeping her own family’s kitchen well-stocked. She loves sharing the traditional Indian food that she grew up with. She is grateful for all the support she has received so far and is excited to bring Maaji’s Street Kitchen to the people of St. Louis!
