The LociFood Service allows users to share information about local food, and for producers to reach consumers.

Terms of Use overview:

  • Consumers/Users have the right to upload photos, comments, information about producers.
  • Consumers have responsibility to ensure they have the license and rights to the content they upload.
  • We retain right to use the information uploaded for use on this site, and for services (such as widgets) through an API on our partner sites.

1. Your relationship with Loci Food.

1.1 Use of the Service is Subject to these Terms. Your use of any of the LociFood services and APIs (referred to in this document as the "LociFood Service" or the "Service") is subject to the terms of a legal agreement between you and LociFood LLC. This legal agreement is referred to as the "Terms".

1.2 The Terms include LociFood's Legal Notices and Privacy Policy.

(a) Unless otherwise agreed in writing with LociFood, the Terms will include the following:
(i) the terms and conditions set forth in this document (the "LociFood service Terms");
(ii) the Privacy Policy.

(b) Before you use the Service, you should read each of the documents comprising the Terms, and print or save a local copy for your records.
Acceptance of Terms

By using the website at www.locifood.com or any portion of the site (the "Site") or any related services provided by LociFood LLC. (including but not limited to APIs, embeds, and other off-site functionality) (the "Services"), you are agreeing to these Terms of Service. You also may be subject to additional guidelines, rules, policies or other terms of service posted on portions of the site. The Site and Services are only available to individuals who (a) are at least 13 years old and (b) either 18 years old or possess legal parental or guardian consent. LociFood may, in its sole discretion, modify or revise these Terms of Service at any time, and you agree to be bound by such modifications or revisions. We will notify you by making the revised version available on this web page, and an updated revision date will indicate that changes have been made.

Registration & Passwords

To use some of the features on the Site or Services, including the API, you may be required to create an account. Any required fields that are submitted as part of the registration process must be accurate and complete. You are solely responsible for activity that occur on your account. You should keep your password confidential and/or API key confidential and agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We reserve the right to close your account at any time for any or no reason.

When using the Site or Services, you will be subject to any additional posted guidelines or rules applicable to specific services and features which may be posted from time to time (the "Guidelines"). All such Guidelines are hereby incorporated by reference into these Terms.
