- What do we do with your email?
We do not share your email with anyone else, we use it only for communication with you. To make changes to your email communication settings, go to your Email Alerts page.
Linking to Facebook and Twitter
- Can I update Facebook and Twitter from Locifood?
Absolutely! I’t as simple as clicking on the two little buttons below your Status Update box. If you choose, updates posted on Locifood will automatically be posted to your Facebook and Twitter accounts. Pictures too!

- How do I link to my Facebook and Twitter accounts?
If you used Facebook to log into Locifood, linking is automatic. But if not (or to link to your Twitter account), got to the Link Accounts tab in your Profile Settings. Once you link your accounts, sending updates to all three accounts at once is automatic.

Adding Information to Locifood
- Can users add information on Foods, Producers, or Where Can I Get It?
Yes! We encourage users to add information to make our site more useful for your community. Anyone can add Foods, Producer Profiles for producers they use, and update Where Can I Get It? links.
- Can I use my mobile device for my updates to Locifood?
Not yet, but we are working hard on our mobile apps. Sign up for Updates about Locifood.com to stay up to date on our latest features!
For Producers
- Someone else created a profile for my business, how can I update it? Yes. You can Claim your profile if it already exists. This will allow you control of the profile content for your page. To claim a profile, click on the Claim link next to the Producer or Venue name. Provide us with the requested information so that we can verify you are indeed the profile owner, and we will allow you owner access to the profile.
- How do I turn on my food availability feature? To turn on your food availability feature, go to the Site Configuration and turn on Use Food Availability
- How do I change my food availability? On your Foods profile page, use the Change Availability tab to turn the availability of your food On/Off. Foods that are available will be listed in Foods in Season, while those that are unavailable will be listed in Foods Not Currently Available category.
